Project FarmHouse™ , a green renovation project in Pike County, Pennsylvania, just two hours outside of metropolitan New York City and Philadelphia, has officially launch on www.LiveBetterLiveGreen.com! The dream of former fashion model, Lisa Alexander, now a LEED AP, Certified EcoBroker and a Nationally Recognized Green Living, Green Building and Sustainability Expert; Project FarmHouse™ is getting National media attention for the difficult efforts involved in renovating a 100 year old farm house to acquire LEED for Homes, NAHB Green and Energy Star Certifications. The renovation work will include recycling and reusing much current structure, buying used, local and other sustainable products, solar panels, geothermal heat system and much, much more.
The renovations can be viewed on Ms. Alexander’s new website, www.livebetterlivegreen.com. Alexander created the site to help people find information to save money, energy, their health and Planet Earth. The site provides information to help you make your home, business and lifestyle healthier and more sustainable. LiveBetterLiveGreen.com is now being augmented with the internet show on the green how-to renovations of Project FarmHouse™. It will take you through all the ins and outs, and real costs and issues associated with creating an energy efficient healthy home and sustainable life.
Project FarmHouse™ will also be a local learning center where children, adults and corporate executives can learn how-to create a sustainable home, business and lifestyle. Volunteers are welcome to come participate and learn from experts on all things “Green” from energy efficiency, organic gardening and sustainable land & water management on the 53 acres of woods, wet lands, ponds and pastures.
